It is nice to see more Plus size models, like Crystal Renn speaking out on how hard it is to stay pencil thin, and how they are no longer accepting that for their bodies.
Crystal Renn, is naturaly a size 14, and was forcing herself to stay thin for her career, she would do a couple of shoots during the day, and then work out through the night and not eat much to stay thin. She finally let go of that attitude, and feels she is a healthy size, and is very beautiful.
Watch this video interview, and see what she wears, and how she feels about her size.
This is a big step for models and women, as 6 out of 10 North American women are size 14 and above. Designers are finally seeing that, and if they want to sell to women, they need to size their clothes and styles to fit real women. (Nothing personal to those naturally thin women!) but you need to create clothing for small to large women.
